Any person who wishes to join IWCA-GO may do so; however, IWCA-GO encourages soliciting membership particularly from persons who have a stake in writing center administration and scholarship. All graduate and post-doc members of IWCA are encouraged to join and participate in IWCA-GO.

What is the IWCA Graduate Organization?

Who can join?

Any person who wishes to join IWCA-GO may do so; however, IWCA-GO encourages soliciting membership particularly from persons who have a stake in writing center administration and scholarship. All graduate and post-doc members of IWCA are encouraged to join and participate in IWCA-GO.

What are the membership requirements?

To remain in good standing, all IWCA GO members should strive to attend scheduled meetings and events. Members are also encouraged to submit topics and presentations for professional development and workshop topics.

Does it cost anything to be a member?

There are no membership dues for IWCA-GO; however, members are highly encouraged to pay membership dues to IWCA in order to be eligible for the full range of benefits offered by IWCA-GO (e.g., travel grants). Please see the IWCA website for current graduate student membership dues.
